App can write to SP List, but can no longer read the list.

I have an app that allows users to submit their daily work tasks to a sharepoint list via a form in the app. The app also allows the users to view previously submitted data. For some reason, for the last couple of days the app can submit the form and it writes to the sharepoint list, but the app doesnt seem to be able to read the list.

I guess its not permissions as the app can write to the SP list, but just not read it. I have no idea what or where to check. Please help.

SOLVED: dont know why or how, but started trouble shooting and created a duplicate page to test and troubleshoot on and the previous data loaded. Therefore saved and republished and it seems to be working again now. 😕
