PowerApps Application - Multiple issues after PowerApps new version

Hi,

A PowerApps application runs in production for almost one year and, without any changes made, multiple issues appeared when opening in PowerApps Studio.

I managed to fix it changing the Authoring Version from 3.24045.24 to 3.24044.28.

Unfortunately, few days later 3.24044.28 version was not available anymore and all the issues appeared agan.
This is really critical becaus I can't change anymore the application. Fortunately, the application is still working for users.

Here are some examples of issues in the app:

- Some variables and collections have been reset - Save and Reload

- Incompatible type. We can't evaluate your formula because the context variable types are incompatible with the types of values in other places in you app

- Defaults in an unknown or unsupported fonction
Because of the large number of issues (almost 600!) it's very difficult to investigate and find the solution.

Any help is welcome

Regards

    Hi @Yvez ,

It is a bit difficult to be definitive here, but 600 errors sound like something broken in the connectors. Try deleting all the data sources and re-adding them. Also (as a debugging exercise) does restoring the last good version work ?

Hi @Yvez  I've had a similar issue - things like 'Name isn't valid' or 'this formula uses scope' errors that weren't an issue before.

It's going to sound stupid, but this is what I did - just deleted the last character in the area highlighted as error and put it back.

So for this one I deleted the ), and then typed in another ). Error message disappeared. It's going to be a pain to do all of them, but at least it's something.

I did try deleting the data sources on mine and re-adding them, but the error messages remained with that.

As I've gone through more sometimes you do need to do remove and replace a couple of characters, just as a heads up.

I can't restore the last working version because, the 3.24044.28 authoring version is not available anymore

    @Yvez ,

Other than what @Farsie suggested (probably a lot of effort, but you will see very quickly if it is going to work),

I suggest you lodge a Support Ticket with Microsoft
