Hello.

 

I have some questions regarding environments with CDS:

 

- What determines when an environment will appear in the top right corner along with your default environment?

 

- Why should you add a security group to an environment when the security role govern the permissions?

    Hello @dahlgebra,

     

    - What determines when an environment will appear in the top right corner along with your default environment?

    1. The user can't be guest
    2. The user should have a roles in that environment
    3. The user should be inside the security group used on the environment

     

    - Why should you add a security group to an environment when the security role govern the permissions? 

    1. Is the best way and best practices
    2. Centralize the management of the user from a administrative point of view
    3. Increase the security
    4. When you share an app with a security group you assign a role to it to be propagated to the user inside the security group.
