Powerapps + sharepoint list create no permission screen

Right now some users have access to the power app, and a subset of said users have access to the sharepoint list being used by my powerapp. For the users that dont have access: the powerapps doesnt work at all (which is what I want). However I want to know if its possible to detect that they dont have permissions to the sharepoint list and show a screen inside of powerapps with an error about permissions?

is there an easy way to do that?

You will have to check user permissions within the App.

is there really no better way of doing that?, the list with one record could cause confusion, and if deleted will break the entire app. I just want the people from the sharepoint group to have access to the powerapp. And everyone else to not have access to the powerapp.

    Hi @LuisTorres ,

Why is the Power App shared with them if you do not want them to use it? Assuming this is not the fix (and I cannot test the following), you might try a something like this on the Visible of label (using one of the connected lists) on the screen with the message you want.

    !CountRows(SharePointListName)>0

This should make it visible if PowerApps finds no records in the List.

I ended up doing a permission check with the API from sharepoint in flow. and checking if the current user belongs to the permission group that has access to the sharepoint group when opening powerapps.
