Currently when a canvas app is published, users must refresh the app to get the latest version. Although it notifies you, there should be an option that lets users who are returning to the app automatically pull the latest update instead of opening the app and notifying them that they need to refresh to update the app.
I understand for folks that are still on the app while the app was published the notification to refresh would be sufficient but for folks who are returning to the app, they should be pulling the latest app instead.
