Send emails through model-driven apps

Hi,

Is it possible to send emails through a model-driven app? There is an email button on the main grid of the built-in activities tables. But nothing happens when I try to send the email. I don't have dynamics 365 apps. Is there anything I need to configure to be able to send emails?

Another question. Can some items be deleted from the command bar? For example, letter and fax icons.

    Hi @bsr1 ,

     

    You need to configure the Dataverse environment with your Office 365 Exchange environment.  https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/settings-email 

    Once you do the appropriate configurations then you will be able to send emails out of the Model App.

     

    As far as configuring what is available or the activities...  

    1.  Configure Timeline Control (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-apps/maker/model-driven-apps/set-up-timeline-control) 

    2.  Configure Command Bar
