PowerApps Forms Opening as Modal Popups on SharePoint List Instead of Side Panel

With the new list experience updating all the tenant. I have noticed with new list experience OOB form or PowerApp form is getting open as modal popups in the center of the screen instead of in the side panel as they used to and one of the issue with that is user can click anywhere outside the model popups and it closes the window automatically.

I would like to get an option to open model popup as right hand pane how it was used to open earlier. Has anyone else experienced this, or is there a known fix or workaround? I would appreciate any guidance.
Thank you

    Hello rahulbarua

As of the moment, there is currently no quick way for this.

The one solution I can think of is creating a custom CSS and javascript for the site and deploy it using SPFX (SharePoint Framework). That will be a whole lot to learn.

Another course of action is to backup your current app and resize the current one to fit the new modal size.

    Regards,

Currently, these workarounds are your best options. Keeping the specific list in Classic Experience may be the simplest immediate fix until Microsoft provides more flexibility with form display options in modern lists
