I've just created a new table in dataverse.
A new column "Name" showed up automatically, I think, together with a bunch of others.
I'd like to delete this one, since I don't understand what it is doing there, but how?
each table inside Dataverse has a primary column (called prefix_name for custom tables), it is created as text (eventually you can modify it to be an autonumber). It can't be deleted
Hello, @WebPortal as @GuidoPreite mentioned, when you create a new Dataverse table, it will create a Default Name column and you can rename it while you are creating the table not after the creation. This column is a very important column as it should hold the value that you want to should in any Lookup column that will or might be linked to this table.
Hi,
Thank you so much for the explanation, I know what a primary key is. I just wondered why it was created automatically with "Name" as name.
