Custom Praise Badge Replacement

With Custom Badges being retired last year in Teams, has anyone explored the potential to utilize Power Apps to replace this?  I do see the Shoutouts app but that appears to be standalone versus integrating directly into Teams Chats + channel messages.  Is this possible or does anyone have such a template?
