Is it possible to have multiple on-premises gateways on the same machine, with different Regions?
The reason is my apps all access a SQLServer instance held on a VM in Azure, via an on-prem gateway that sits on the VM. The regional setting for this gateway is 'Europe'.
All my Environments are Europe region as well, of course, so they can see the gateway. I want to move everything to 'United Kingdom' region. This looks like quite an involved process, potentially rebuilding environments, exporting/importing apps, and so on. Ideally I would want a UK Region gateway running at the same time as the Europe one while I make all these changes.
Hence the question!
No, that is not possible. You can't configure more than own instance of Data Gateway in one machine.
