Retrieve a specific amount of rows // Power Apps

Good day Guys,

I have a PowerApps App working really good but the only thing that is giving me troubles is that when it's starting it takes some time to upload whether is the data that is trying to retrieve from the gallery to show or something else which i don't know.

I'd like to know how to retrieve a specific amount of rows from a sharepoint list at startup and if the user keeps scrolling down, it looks for more. then, any advice to improve the performance may be welcome as well.

Thanks in advance

If your Items property of the Gallery is the datasource, then the Gallery will do this for you automatically.  If you are trying to duplicate your datasource into a collection and use that as the Items property, you will not get the same results.

So, make sure your Gallery is referencing the datasource.

I hope this is helpful for you.

By default a gallery will only pull the first 100 records for display until a user scrolls to record 101.  Unfortunately, I'm not aware of any way to change the 100 item page size.  I would suggest using the Monitor while previewing the app in the designer to identify exactly what is causing the delay in loading.
