Hello all,
I am looking to build a PowerApps solution for this process, which requires the approver to not only approve the item created in the Sharepoint list, but also fill out three additional columns.
My goal is to create this process using the best practice possible, so that users who are not approvers cannot go back and edit their submissions, or more ideally, cannot edit the approval status and those specific three columns.
I believe my starting point would resemble this post from another community member: https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Creating-Apps/Disabling-controls-based-on-permissions/td-p/81919
However, the post linked leaves the final question unanswered, and I am unsure how to also secure permission on the Sharepoint site itself, as a user may want to use the Sharepoint site instead of the PowerApp.
I understand that this may be somewhat complex, but any advice and/or links would be very much appreciated.
Many thanks.
