Gallery should act like Combobox

Hey guys,

I’ve just discovered that Combobox is neither able to change the color of certain items nor set icons to each item individually.

As alternative solution, I would like to use a Gallery control.

But how to achieve that the Gallery control can be opened the same way than a Combobox does?

Thanks so much for your support.

You can imitate the drop down as a button or textbox based on your requirement, put the gallery just under it, hidden. On select of your first control, set a variable, use variable in visibility of gallery so it shows on select of your first control. On select of item from gallery, set the variable again to hide the gallery and set value of first control.

    Best of luck.

Oh yeah. Of course, it’s that simple.

Why didn’t I come up with this myself?

    Thanks so much @AmirBakht

    My pleasure.

We tend to miss the simpler solutions while concentrating on the more complex ones.

Last night I dreamt the most simple solution to a problem I was trying to figure out for the past couple of days.

    Hey @AmirBakht,

Totally agree with you. Yeah, sometimes try to stop focusing on the problem. The next day, all of a sudden, you‘ve got the issue fixed.

    Thank you 😊.
