How can we collect user input from chat bot?

How can we collect dynamic user input through chat bot. So that the formality of boredom of static motion of questions can be avoided. User can select the topics of interest and give input on those. Or a virtual agent help record user isssues in the existing system so that user do not need to leave the window or page they are working on.

How to take user input by Virtual agent?

    Hi @Minx,

PVA is all about user input and interaction.

If you want the user to input just in specific topics, you need to build the interaction in the desired topics and create a single topic with Multioptions, so the users can choose their desired subject.

Also, if you need the user to send input to an email account or for any other way you wish, I would recommend the use of adaptive cards adaptivecards.io and Bot Framework Composer. Both can take a bit to get a grip, but it's worthy.

    Cheers,
    Fernando

@Minx did you find a solution? I have this same question!

I'm interested in collecting whatever trigger phrase the user inputs to use in the conversation.

Not able to collect the dynamic response through the PVA.
The easy and non_dynamic option is through forms.
And best ways to do that is through apps connected to dataverse.

Was more interested in just knowing what the user typed at the beginning of the interaction.... i.e. something similar to bot.UserDisplayName like bot.UserInput.
