Hello Everyone,

I have created many Canvas apps and integrate SharePoint list as data source in PowerApps. Now, i will need to create Modern Driven apps in PowerApps and get data from SharePoint list.

Can anyone help me for the same? Thanks in advance.

Thanks & Regards,
Meet Bhatt

Model driven apps works only with dataverse , if you want to bring data from sharepoint to Model Driven App you can try using Virtual Entities but it has a lot of limitations check below:

    Hi Mira Ghaly,

    Thanks for your response,

If i need to integrate SharePoint with PowerApps than i must use Canvas app instead of Model Driven app. Is it correct?

Is there any simplest way (which have no more limitations) to create Model Driven app using SharePoint list?

    Thanks and Regards,
    Meet Bhatt

I know that this is an old post. But I am responding for anyone else viewing it, specifically this is about using the document management capabilities of SharePoint

    1. Brian Knight from pragmatic works does a great explanation of how to add a sharepoint site to https://youtu.be/8zCcIQ_gpB8?t=420. Starting at the 7 min mark
    2. Brian shows how to pull up the documents tab by using the related links but does not use it as his final solution. Here is how to make the related documents tab visible: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-apps/maker/model-driven-apps/add-documents-tab-entity-main-form.
      1. This allows you to create folder structures.

The whole thing is a bit fiddly, for such a great feature I'm not sure why this isn't a component. I have less than a year of Power Apps development, so I would say this is a beginner to intermediate skill solution
