CoE (CenterOfExcellence) - Environment languaje config.

Hi there!

We did an installation of the CoE for a client, but we just notice that the environment where the CoE was deployed is in Spanish, not in English as the Microsoft documentation recommends.

Is there any known issue with this? Should we install the CoE again in a new English environment?

No errors so far but just to be sure..

CoE starter kit got lot of Model driven Apps which could impact the language choice. If you folks are happy with Spanish feel free to use it.

Also, deploying CoE starter kit in multiple environments doesn't create any issues.

We use and recommend multiple environments (DEV?PROD) to manage the starter kit. Make sure you don't turn on full inventory in Dev environment and it is used only initial deployment and developing/testing customizations if needed.

Also, don't run inventory flows in DEV environment, it could lead to flow license limits depending on your Tenant.

In Short, if you donot use Spanish. Feel free to uninstall and install and configure again in new environment.

Hi Velegandla,

Thanks for replying but I'm not sure if you answer my question.
The point of the question is to know what issues can we have if the CoE environment is not in english, i couldn't find information in the Microsoft documentation, it just says that the environment should be in english without any more details.

Hi @lucasubi ,
CoE Starter Kit is compatible with a Spanish environment. I tried it and did't have problems.
