How do I embed a Power BI report in a tab of a Main form?

A couple of years ago I found some posts on the internet describing how to display a Power BI report on a Main form tab in a model driven app. The solution included the possibility of automatically filtering the Power BI report according to the row selected in the Main form. It worked really well but it stopped working some time last year. I went to try and recreate it but I can no longer find the step by step instructions. All I can find is this MS page, which I did use but this page doesn't quite give me quite enough  to re-build a solution. Does anyone know where there is a step by step resource for embedding a Power BI report into the tab on a Main form? I don't want to add a Page with the report but to add it as a tab on the Main form and have the Power BI report filtered according to what row the Main form data is showing.
I have the same question (0)

    Hey @InTas,

Here's a step by step guide: Power BI Embedder for XrmToolBox

You just need to download the XrmToolBox: Home  Â· XrmToolBox

    That should help you out.
Attention the Filtering is not possible right at the moment (I had a few talks with Microsoft support to be sure). It will come back in the future.

My workaround for filtering was to create a link automatically to power BI with the filter inside the Link, so the users just  need to press on the link and get the filtered report.

Thanks for your response @DBO_DV, yes I had seen that page but as I had accomplished what I'm trying to do in the past, and with filters then, I went past that page assuming there must be a more native way of doing it. In your correspondence with MS did you get any indication as to how far in the future they may return filtering to us?
Thanks again for your suggestion, I'll give it a go.

I asked them the same question, but sadly they couldn't provide an ETA.
So we'll just have to wait and see...

Hey @DBO_DV good news! Using the XrmToolbox I got the report to display in the tab. The tool doesn't enable the option for filtering but following the instructions on the page I noted in my first post, I manually edited the xml to add my filter and uploaded into a solution in the same environment, and it worked! My Power BI model is now filtering in context of the selected row.
