Combobox doesnt't auto-select saved value on edit screen

I have a ComboBox on a record editing screen. Although the value saved in the database appears in the control, it is not automatically selected in the ComboBox, which has been causing this field to be saved as blank. Does anyone know how to fix this? How can I make the saved value load as selected in the ComboBox when opening the edit screen, to prevent the field from being saved empty again?

Below are some images. As you can see, the value appears correctly in the ComboBox, but it is not automatically selected.

The Items property is configured with the SharePoint data source called Listas Suspensas. I also tried using the expression ShowColumns(Listas Suspensas; "Motivo do Erro") in this field, but the value still wasn't selected.

As you can see in this image, the saved record appears, but it is not selected.

    Firstly, can you please remember to post your code in Text - saves re-typing here.
    The fundamental issue is that if the Items of the Combo Box is
    'Listas suspensas'
    then the output is not going to be .Value - it will be the field name from 'Listas suspensas' that you are displaying for the choice to be made. You did not post this, so I have used FieldName below.  I am also assuming here that it is a single selection control. For DefaultSelectedItems
    {
       FieldName:
       If(
          DropdownClassificacao8_l.Selected.Value = "100%";
          Blank();
          Thisltem.'Motivo do erro'
       )
    }
    You also do not need the !IsBlank test - if Thisltem.'Motivo do erro’ is blank, then it will write blank to the field.
