I have an excelsheet with 260 columns and i am trying to import the values from Excel to DataVerse using Power Automate.
1. Can I create a single table with 260 columns in Dataverse?
2. Is there any drawback/limitations of using a single table with 260 columns in DataVerse?
Thanks.
there is a limit on the number of columns, it's around 1000 but some column types uses more than 1, for example if a column is a lookup it counts as 3 and a currency is count as 2 (if I remember correctly), plus you need to consider out-of-the box columns created by the system.
So if your columns are mostly text I would say you can create them, however this doesn't mean that you should have a single table with 260 columns, it depends on the scenario you need to implement.
hope it helps
thanks For the reply.
i have an excelsheet with Product details ~120 columns with numeric values and ~140 columns with text.
I just need to import the excel data in to the Dataverse and use them in the PowerApps.
Can you suggest me Best Practise/ Best Solution in DataVerse for this requirement.
