List filtering by url id

Hi everyone,

I’m working with Power Pages and need some help. I want to automatically filter a list based on the ID in the page URL. This ID corresponds to a lookup field in the list’s table.

The goal is for the list to only display the matching records, but it’s important that the filter also works with the built-in download/export button in the list.

Has anyone implemented something similar or knows the best way to achieve this?

Hi,
You can follow these steps:

Create a form of your Parent entity and add only the child entity subgrid on that form.

Create a basic form in Power Pages, then select the form of your Parent entity (created above) and add metadata to display the subgrid. You can configure download actions for the (child) entity as needed.

Create a page in Power Pages and add this form to the page.

Create a List in Power Pages to display all the records of your Parent entity. Under the options, enable the Edit or Details action and set it to redirect to the page you created earlier. This will display all the records associated with the Parent entity selected from the list.
