Global Variable not registering as Data Source

Hello All!

I have a Powerapp that is connected via Excel Online (I know not the best data source but my team needs it to be on Excel). I have a nested gallery, where when I click on an item inside the inner gallery, it takes me to a detail page. I set the onselect (on an arrow) of the inner gallery item to Set(glbItem, ThisItem); Navigate(DetailScreen) and the Item of the DetailScreen to glbItem. However I am getting an error saying "Invalid Formula. Expected a value compatible with 'DataSource'".

Can anyone help??

Of course you have an ID column in your excel table. So the Item property of the form should be LookUp(Table1, ID=gblItem.ID)
