Migration of Power Platform Environments to another Tenant

Following on from our investigation of the migration of Power Platform environments from one tenant to another, but  we would like to know

  1. the impact and process when the Tenant moves across on Data Loss Policies/Connectors and Data Groups
  2. how do we ensure that the DLP Policies/Connectors and Data Groups are confirmed as well

This issue is separating the APPS from others in a Mixed OpCoTenant/ Environment.  The main issue is that the APPS would need to be separated from the others and moved to a SANDBOX environment for transfer and then upgraded to PROD afterwards. The DLP in place on would need to be checked that the connectors are available before the migration even starts as this is where some delay would come in, to get sign off.

There is also the possibility to backup the apps to the LOCAL desktop and then restore them into the new tenant / environment. Then there would be the issue of data – this can be exported to excel and then reimported to the new environment’s Dataverse but this breeds a whole word of compliance issues and mistrust of data. Power Platform - export-data-excel

No matter what process we use there is always going to be some manual work to be completed by the environment administration like configuring DLP, Business Groups, Environment Teams, Data Access etc. This is the bit that has me trawling technotes until midnight or beyond. Power Platform - How Access is Determined

Can anyone in the forum has come across this situation and what would be the better process.
