Here is the component you'll need: https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Canvas-Apps-Components-Samples/Office-UI-Fabric-Icon-Generator/td-p/401360
If you like it, please consider giving it a thumbs up on the component's page or liking or retweeting my tweet right here: https://twitter.com/R3dKap/status/1196924495266799616

Thanks @Anonymous 😊,
Sorry for the delay I just got back this week from my holidays...
I won't explain here why I need to have this Initialize property (a bit complicated).
But you are right: if you want the component to auto-initiliaze itself when the application starts, in the OnVisible event of the screen set a variable to False, then set it to True and assign that variable to the Initialize property of the component.
That should do the trick.
Good day!
Question, I am new to PA and components, wanted to have this as a resource others can use by just letting them play the app instead of installing the component in each new powerapp... , but when I save then publish then click play it shows the "Please select the component and (re)activate its Initialize property" message (I can see it when editing/playing the new powerapp) but not after I save.
Do I need to set this at appOnstart or ? any guidance or help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much for this component @R3dKap it is a gamechanger!
Yes, I figured this was the problem since the ZIP file in the post is in fact the MSAPP file that was zipped because I couldn't find a way to post the MSAPP file directly. Glad you figured it out!
Ah yes ? Je te ping en PM... 🙂
Hi @R3dKap ,
thanks for your fast feedback.
my steps:
• downloading the zip file from this here:
https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Canvas-Apps-Components-Samples/Office-UI-Fabric-Icon-Generator/td-p/401360
• trying to import as.
but: now I downloaded your .msapp file from github. That worked perfect. So thanks!!!
Merci et salutations d'un voisin 😉
Hi @max81,
I'll be glad to help you sort this out but to that end, could you please detail here the exact steps you followed to install the component on your side? This will help me detect the origin of your problem.
Waiting for your steps...
@R3dKaphi. I tried to install your component. But I get errors “something went wrong. Try again later”.
i tried it several time the last week without success. Installing other components was not a problem.
can you help? I love the idea!
Just updated the component to v1.1 with the following new features:
Hope you will enjoy it!

Hi @mdevaney,
Thanks... No, didn't know about the Glyphicons in Bootstrap... 🙂
Very nice work here @R3dKap! It is like you have given the PowerApps community now has its own version of Bootstrap Glyphicons.
I assume you've heard of BootStrap + Glyphicons before but just in case you have no idea what I am stalking about: https://getbootstrap.com/docs/3.3/components/
