Hi,

We have a bot created using bot composer tool and an another bot created using PVA platform. How can we integrate PVA bot
inside composer bot (is it possible with the help of 'connect to a skill' action ?).

Thanks..

    Hi @Madan ,

I never tried it yet, but I think that it's possible you export the Bot Framework Composer as skill and import inside PVA as skill.

I know that it works using Bot Framework (not composer) but I think this is the same idea.

Export Bot framework composer as a skill: Export a skill - Bot Framework Composer | Microsoft Docs

Add Skills inside PVA: Extend your chatbot using Bot Framework skills - Power Virtual Agents | Microsoft Docs

    Hi @Madan,

while it's not (currently) possible to have PVA bot as a Skill, you can combine your PVA and Bot Framework assets in a different way. You would need to use PVA as "combine" point and integrate Bot Framework bot into the PVA bot instead.

    1. Like what @renatoromao has suggested, you can make your Bot Framework a Skill out of Composer and register it in your PVA bot to use:

    2. From Composer, you can Publish Composer dialogs and triggers into your PVA bot, to combine all you have in one bot. This way, there are no additional Azure instances and no Skills to maintain, and all assets are in one place.

Use Bot Framework Composer with chatbots - Power Virtual Agents | Microsoft Docs

Since you have already written your Bot Framework bot in Composer, you might need to copy your Bot Framework Dialogs and Triggers into the new Composer project created when you use "Open in Bot Framework Composer" button. You can copy from one project folder to another on your filesystem, if it's more convenient. You will have to do updates and maintain your Composer code in the new PVA/Composer project.

If it's too much to copy, you can to go your Bot Framework Composer project and add PVA bot profile (see attached) and then Publish your Composer assets into the PVA bot.

    Hope this helps!
