Model Driven app Data Import

Hi Guys,

I have a requirement whereby I need to pull in all 52 weeks of the year every single year into my model driven app as records in an entity called Weeks for example. This entity will then be used to generate Timesheets from for employees to submit.

Could anyone point me in the right direction for how I could solve this please?

Thank you very much, Harrison.

    Hi @HarrisonP04,

Try creating an instant Power Automate flow which creates a number range of 1-52 then add those numbers as rows in your Weeks entity then run the flow once.

@KeithAtherton That's worked perfectly, Thank you very much. I now just need to figure out a way to get this to work so that I can generate weeks for 5 years in advance for example but im thinking maybe I can put a year field on the week record and do it that way.

    Thank you mate.

My pleasure! Thanks for the update, great to hear you got it working.

Great idea, I'd go for that too (example below).

You could use a loop in a flow to add 1-52 for 5 years (loops).

    Year Week
    2023 1
    2023 2
    ... ...
    2024 1
    2024 2
    ... ...
