I'm using a sharepoint list as the data source and changed it to allow multiple selections as well and its still not working. it's giving me an error saying its expecting a record and its giving it a table
Hi @Anonymous ,
What function or formula is getting the error?
the default attribute of the datacard: ThisItem.'Audit Type'
Just remove the Default - it is not relevant in a combobox when you have multiple selections.
Please click Accept as solution if my post helped you solve your issue. This will help others find it more readily. It also closes the item. If the content was useful in other ways, please consider giving it Thumbs Up.
I'm sorry but that doesn't make any sense. How would it populate an edit form then? also it works just fine with another multi select field with the same default but changed.
the other field default:
ThisItem.'Form Type'
Thanks @Anonymous ,
I have had issues with combo boxes in the past when in they are multi-select and in fact got the same error as you yesterday when trying to set a Default. I can only relate my experience here, so there may be something I am also missing, however removing the Default does not affect the control's ability to update the record with the selected items. I get around it by displaying label in the card when on View mode and the combo box in Edit or New.
