Get value from combo box as string. Not collection!

I have a form which is based on a SP list. One of the fields is a combo box. I would like to extract the selected value. I have added a label to my power app in order to see if I can extract the value. In both Share Point, and in Power Apps I have made sure that it is only possible to choose one value at the time for the combo box.

In order to extract the current value I guess I have to use this formula with some modifications in order to transform the only row to a string:

Text:

DataCardValue6.SelectedItems

    Can you try "combobox.selected.<fieldname>" ?

The code you want should be

    DataCardValue6.Selected.Value

Although Value may be a different field name depending on what you bound your dropdown to.  When you add Selected you should see a list of potential fields.

Thank you SO MUCH!! I was struggling all day to get my combo boxes to work, and your reply instantly solved my problems. The ".Selected." prompted a bunch of fields (one for each combo box in my case) and those were the right ones.

Thank you so so so much.
