Change Record Owner - Teams Not Shown in Model-Driven Lookup

I have built out a number of forms in a model-driven app.  Each form exposes the Owner lookup field.

In all cases, the lookup only lists Users.  Even though I have two Teams defined, they are not shown in the list.

I am supposed to be able to assign ownership to a USER or a TEAM.  At the moment I can only assign ownership to a USER.

I have attached a screenshot showing the lookup for an Account row.

How do I get TEAMS to appear in this lookup?  Thanks.

    Hi @kpatterson0214,

Do you want to change the owner to the Team?

Could you please share a bit more about the scenario?

If you just want to assign the record, you can handle the situation through workflow (for each entity which are needed) by applying the condition if Owning User contains data and Owning user are specific people then assign the created record to the team.

    Hope it could help.

    Thanks for your reply.

At the moment I am concerned that I am not able to use the model-driven lookup to assign the team.  I have seen other model-driven solutions where both the users and teams are presented in the lookup and I cannot figure out how to get that same functionality in my app.  Is it a configuration issue?  Here is screenshot from another solution that a client is running that exhibits that behavior.  That is what I'm looking for.

And here is what I see in my app:

As you can see, teams are not displayed and I do have some teams defined.

    Thanks,

    Keith.

According to Microsoft's documentation the difference could be that you did not add the Teams table as a data source in your model driven application that's why you will see difference between some environments and yours.

Thanks for this @JohnEmad.  I'll give it a try.  I searched high and low but at the time that documentation was not available (or I couldn't find it.)
