Updates to channel description and disclaimer not appearing in Teams/365 Chat

For my published agent in a managed solution, I edited the Channel description for the provided "Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams" channel, and saved.  The changes do not appear in Teams.  I have saved & Published.  Same problem.

I had done the same operation in a lower environment, and changes appeared.

Anyone have an idea of why it seems to work "sometimes?"  or how I can force it?  I've tried a trivial change deployment up to my managed environment, and while I see *instruction* changes, no new details in my Teams.
I have waited multiple days, because I know that (for some reason) changes to Teams take time.  But not 72-hours time.
I have the same question (0)

    Hi,
This is a known behavior when updating channel descriptions/disclaimers for agents published via managed solutions.

"You must submit a new approval request to update the icon and descriptions for agents that were previously approved."

This means that changes to the channel description and disclaimer are NOT propagated automatically after a re-publish — they require a new admin approval cycle.
    Here's what you should do:

    1. Open the Teams & M365 Copilot channel configuration panel in Copilot Studio
    2. Go to Availability options → Submit for admin approval (even if the agent was previously approved)
    3. An admin will need to review and re-approve the updated metadata in the Teams Admin Center
    4. Once approved, all users will receive the updated description/disclaimer
This explains why instruction changes appear (those propagate with a standard re-publish) but channel metadata (description, disclaimer) does not — they follow a separate approval flow.

    Hope this helps!
    Paolo

Thank you Paolo, that was exactly it -- the environment from which I had the disclaimer appearing was a side-loaded environment, not approved by our admin in teams admin center.
I knew that manifest & icon changes required new approval, but this was the first attempt at adding a disclaimer.  Will be useful for future knowledge.
