He Everyone,

One of my input text filed has default value as 0.

I need default value as blank. I tried to delete 0 from the right hand size and the parent.default formula deleted and the input is not flowing to the respective list column.

How can I fix this?

    @Sajan_Varghese

    Put this code in the Default property of Approver3_DataCard1

    Blank()

    Hi @Sajan_Varghese

    The control is getting its value from the Parent.Default, which means from the selected Item.

    In case you want to set it blank in case of new form and show the value when the item is updated, then you can update the formula as:

    If(Form1.Mode = FormMode.New, Blank(), Parent.Default)

    Hope this Helps!

    If you try solution from @mdevaney  did it work for you?

    @poweractivate

    If(Form1.Mode = FormMode.New, Blank(), Parent.Default), works for both the cases, i.e. for New form and Edit form. If it is a New form, then will show the value as Blank and if the form is used to edit an existing item, then the saved value will be displayed.

    Hope this Helps!

    @yashag2255

    That's a good idea actually, if @Sajan_Varghese is using the form for both new and edit.

    If @Sajan_Varghese is only using the form for New and is sure that the FormMode of the Form will never be changed to FormMode.Edit - then @mdevaney 's solution may be much simpler for @Sajan_Varghese to understand and also to implement.

    However @yashag2255  we think your solution actually makes more sense if the form may be under the New mode and the Edit mode, so it may be a better solution overall.
