I am creating an app that captures all the units that are ready to deliver to the client. They are supposed to be capture depending on the number of units on a truck, which means I have to scan several barcodes, and take pictures of the unit before they leave the building. The issue that I am having is that the app is only sending the first barcode it scanned, and I haven't been able to make it send several barcodes in one entry. What can I do? I'm new in PowerApps. Please help.
@Caluchan24
In the Submit Button, Remove ClearCollect. This is messing with Your collection. It clears colScans and then picks the last scanned barcode.
Also, at the end, add Clear(colScans) so after all scans are added to Sharepoint it will clear this collection
Thank you for your help. I did the corrections you suggested:
But now the field for "Barcodes" in my SharePoint list are coming empty. Do you know what can I do to fix this?
Thanks!
You are patching Code.Value you need to change it to the name of the Column. It will be Code.Barcode Your collection colScans do not have column called Value
ForAll( colScans As Code, Patch( 'Shipping Tracking List', Defaults('Shipping Tracking List'), {Barcodes:Code.Barcode}, Form2.Updates)); If( IsEmpty(Errors('Shipping Tracking List')), Notify( "Success", NotificationType.Success ); Navigate(SuccessScreen), Notify( First(Errors('Shipping Tracking List')).Message, NotificationType.Error ) ); Clear(colScans);
Thank you for your help! 🙂
