Other Apps Connect To Dataverse?

Hello,

Currently we allowed to use PowerApps externally, which is unfortunate. I have built an internal one in which most of most users reside. They have Appian licensees and that is allowed for external use.

2 Questions:

- Can Appian somehow connect to Dataverse? ...and...

- Can some other non-low code method connect to Dataverse?

I don't have a choice to external use for PowerApps just yet, possibly in the future, but for now they just don't allow it. We have an Amazon S3 Bucket, but the government has not authorized the premade connection for PowerApps. I'm trying to find a way around this.

I'd rather not use Appian at all, but you can only do what you can do.

Hi @Roystreet ,

I've not used Appian so I'm not familiar with what connectors/capabilities it has with regards to connecting to Dataverse out of the box.

Any custom application can interact with Dataverse by using the Web API. Power Apps and all other products interact with this same API.

Thank you for your answer. It’d be nice to be able to use all Power Platform stuff, but you can only do what you can do
