Hi All,

I would like to know how we can automate adding users to the power platform environment with a specific role.

I have an environment which is assigned to a security group. There are 5 users in the group and all users are added to the environment. However no role is assigned to them. I want them to have a specific role say Basic User. How can this be achieved? Also when a 6th user is added to security group he should be added to environment with Basic User role.

Use Dataverse teams for this propose: Teams in Dataverse - Power Platform | Microsoft Learn

With these teams you can assign a security role to a Entra ID Security Group. After this you need to assign this group like member of the security group of the environment.
Then, the users that you include in the Teams security group automatically have acceso to the environment with the role related.
