How to sort the ID field in Dataverse?

This is my "ID" field in Dataverse:

This is the expression of the Table visual in Power Apps:

SortByColumns( Tables, "cr876_id", Ascending)

And this is what is displayed:

Why is this not displayed correctly??

And if, in Dataverse, I change to:

Nothing changes, after refreshing the data source in Power Apps?

Hi @WebPortal,

It doesn't sort correctly because the automumber field is a string/text and not a number, this is by design. Since the ID number is sequential on created date, you can sort by the created on (createdon) field/column instead and you'll have the same outcome.
