Why does my PowerApp fail to launch Outlook on a Simple mailto:

I have an Icon in my grid row. In the onselect: Launch("mailto:" + ThisItem.Email)

I have the rest of the grid populated with data and I know ThisItem.Email has valid data because I also added it to the Tooltip.Text and it show the email address.

Edge opens another blank window instead of launching my client email app Outlook--which is up and running.

Try the & operator to combine two items into a single string:

Launch("mailto:" & ThisItem.Email)

I have verified Launch("mailto:" & ThisItem.Email) in the OnSelect of a button launches an Outlook email message for me, populated with a valid email address in the "To:" field. Can you check your Windows settings to make sure a mailto: opens with Outlook and not Edge? This isn't sounding like a Power Apps issue.

Awesome! I was playing with Edge and somehow must have changed the default. Thank-you.
