Dear friends,
I'm sorry I'm very new to all this, but may I ask for some guidance on how to setup real time workflow ?
I found this doc Configure real-time workflow stages and steps in Power Apps - Power Apps | Microsoft Docs
but I'm "stunned" by where I even have to start ?
Is there any simple step by step what to do instead, which explain going where, which button to choose, what next, etc ?
If there is a YouTube video for this will be very much helpful.
Many thanks
Hi @rampprakash,
I would appreciate it if you could provide information regarding the pricing for this real-time workflow.
Ohh... thank you for confirming. I really have no idea.... 😂😂
Hello @Axal,
No this type of behavior is not achievable in OOB Rela time process with Low code. If you want to achieve this either you need to go with Plugins for Real-time or Microsoft flow for Back ground process.

Does it mean "real time workflow" only works to update (or doing whatever action) for the entity it self and its upper? so it is bottom to top update ?
and cannot Top to Bottom that I expected ?
Thanks,
Hi @rampprakash ,
I'm sorry, but the idea of this workflow is, whenever the field Posted in Expense (Parent table) changed to "Yes", then I expected to change some field (Update) its child table, all the rows for its child.
Does this idea make sense ? and achievable via this real time workflow now I wonder...
Thanks,
Hello @Axal,
Please make sure the Entity Selected is Expense Details and Update you can see the parent as it is 1-N Relationship

Hmm... yah I thought it supposed to give me the selection in the list already.
I have the related table :
Is there anything else I should check / setup ?
Thanks
Hello @Axal,
You nailed it soon. Make Sure you have Child Entities for Expenses table. As per the screen shot you can see the suggested Related Entities over there which means its displaying child entities which is already available. The One you are expecting is not in a Relation ship with EXPENSE table.

Hi @rampprakash
Thank you very much for your guidance. So I have choose my entity (which is the parent) from the screen you're showing, and then press OK.
It will bring me to another screen, which is the process it self.
1. Choose the Scope : Organization
2. Start when : After, and then choose "Record fields change" and select the field I wanted.
3. In the process below : Add Step, bring to another screen.
4. Choose Check condition and setup the condition whereby I need to check if the field on the parent table (Posted) = Yes
5. Save and Close
6. Click the new row and Add Step and choose Update.
At this point, in the dropdown selection, I cannot find the child table which I set the relation already.
Isn't in this drop down supposed to showing me my child entity / table ?
Many thanks in advance for your help.
