Hi all
Have had a look around on this but I cannot find a definitive answer anywhere. As far as I can tell in order to create a set of apps/flows/etc within a solution, it needs to be inside an environment that is Dataverse enabled and the solution will use Dataverse for some of it's behind the scenes mechanics.
Does that mean that anyone using the app within the solution needs the upgraded license for Dataverse, or can people with "normal" licenses without Dataverse capabilities use the app as long as I'm careful that the app won't try and do anything under their permissions they can't do.
For example I have an app with Sharepoint as the data source and a bunch of patches and flows that do basic edits to that data and send emails. If I move/rebuild that app and flow set within a solution, will those users with "normal" licenses still be able to interact with that app as they do now?
Also I assume the account I'm using to create/administer the solutions will need a Dataverse enabled license?
This is part of a wider strategy of really making use of the power platform across our whole company, so not really interested in trying to cut corners with the Dataverse for Teams limited features, but I just want to make sure we're getting the minimum necessary licenses for everything to work properly and so I can use proper ALM on my apps instead of constantly walking on eggshells developing on a live app.
Thanks for any clear answers anyone can give - my google-fu has failed me this time...
