    Greetings @ApiTrader!

I didn’t test it myself, but since it's been close to a year, it might've been patched by now. A comment in that same post says that it doesn't work. Anyways, unless it is truly necessary, I would tell you to never Unmanage a managed solution, as managed solutions are intended to work as Production environment solutions, you should have a copy of that solution in another environment, or in a .zip.

You must keep in mind that, if Microsoft doesn’t allow you to unmanage a solution easily from the Power Apps Maker, it might be because you shouldn’t, although this doesn’t necessarily have to be true.

If you need to edit some components of a Managed Solution, and you don't have that same solution as unmanaged either in the same or anoither environment, you could always create a new solution, and add those existing components into the new solution, and edit those there. I didn’t test this, but I feel like this would be the closest optimal solution.

There are some stuffs like this, but it might also possible It cannot work on the environments For e.g. if you working on Protective data there are lot of restriction on the solution deployment and usage.

Even in the managed solution you can edit the Power-apps and publish too but it only creates unmanaged layer which is not recommended as per the Microsoft.

If you have Managed solution itself why not you having the unmanaged solution you can directly use it.

No, I haven’t tested it — it would be too disappointing if it were really that easy. Even if it doesn’t work in a production environment, you could still take a look at the code.

No thanks, I don’t need any help — I was just surprised that it’s supposedly that simple and was curious to hear opinions.
