Many-To-Many Relationships

Hi All

We are currently developing a Model-Driven & a Canvas application based on Dataverse.

We have following datamodel

- Campaigns

- Responsible technicians

- Clients

A Client can have multiple campaigns, and a campaign can have multiple responsible technicians.

For our relationship between the Campaigns and the Responsible technicians, we have created a Many-to-Many relationship, because there are almost more than 2 or 3 technicians.

1. Is it possible to create a view in the model driven app to display this Many-To-Many relationship

- we can't seem to find one. Because what is the point then if we can't visualize the relationships besides a subgrid.

2. Is it possible to get these relationships through a canvas app and visualize them here?

Thank you in advance & kind regards

    Hi @Anonymous ,

I would highly recommend to create custom N:N relationship instead of using OOB N:N relationship.

    https://global.hitachi-solutions.com/blog/custom-entities-n-n-relationships-dynamics-365-customer-engagement

It does give you what you need, you should be able to create views and you can use that in canvas app too.

    Thanks,

    Bipin
