DateValue showing the wrong date

In my form I have the last medical date and the medical frequency (years)

My issue is that the date value seems to be returning the wrong date.

When I click inside the brackets it shows the correct date as seen below.

As soon as I click outside the brackets it shows the wrong date but it does add the correct amount of years, as shown below, and I can't seem to understand why?

Any help on this would be great.

if you remove "dd/mm/yyyy" ?
Text(DateAdd(DateValue.... Years))

It still gives me the wrong date outside of the brackets.

if you include the "dd/mm/yyyy" inside the DateValue instead?
DateValue(DataCardValue89.Text, "dd/mm/yyyy"),

Thought I'd post my solution in here just in case it helps anyone else.

To fix the issue I added "fr" into the DateValue. I'm not 100% sure why it worked but I think it was something to do with the formatting/region of the date.
