Power Apps Localization Changing and Throwing Error in Formulas

Hi, I have been trying out Power Apps for a few weeks with a couple coeditors, and from time to time when I open we open the app, all the formulas start throwing errors. We have figured that the reason is that the app changes the localization and formulas start using "," instead of ";" as separators and viceversa (as in when we change the separator, in a couple of days it throws the error again. Currently, we have an app that uses ";" as separators working properly and we deployed it to another environment. However after deploying it, the app in the new environment still has ";" but is throwing error and needs to be replaced with "," to work again. You can see how this can be a tedious fix to replace all the separators manually. Does anyone have an idea why this happens and whats a proper fix?

As you mentioned in the topic subject, the issue is related to the language settings on the machine of the makers. These not only have an impact on date and decimal formatting, but also on the syntax, although Microsoft is claiming in the documentation this should not give any issues: Build global support into canvas apps - Power Apps | Microsoft Learn

In case you do experience issues, as a workaround I'd recommend to agree on a single language setting to be used when editing the app and raise a ticket with Microsoft to report the issue and get support.

@BCBuizer Thank so much. Do you know which is the exact setting in Windows that we need to change to fix this? We still can't figure out if its the language, locale, or regional format.

Hey @JC-15041439-0 have you solved the problem? I'm facing the same issue

My app just started showing a lot of errors, and if, for example, I delete '(' and add it again, the formula starts working normally. App is giving me error for no reason
