Dear Community,

I have an MS Form (Checkboxes)

I am trying to Automate this process - if I check Jhon, Jack or Nick, or All of them

It should create (say you ticked/checked 4 people in the MS Form) - it should create 4x Rows for 4 people - with their Office 365 Display Name

The problem with this is - it only finds the first item i.e. first item from the MS Form

E.g. It only finds Saunders, Jack but for the rest it gives error -

If I replace Jack with John - find Joh but not Jack!

Please can you advise - what am I doing wrong?

    @Hardesh15
    Thank you very much for your help and advice. I really appreciate your help.

    Yes - I accept your solution.

    What I did was - I went to the SharePoint List - clicked on Edit Column - although it was on Date&Time format - I changed it to a single line of text - saved - then changed it to date&time again - the saved ...

    And it worked!! 😀

    @Hardesh15

    I have fixed this problem - by using Condition Branching -

    berebel_0-1659478881475.png

    But now the only problem is - Date entry in SharePoint List -

    berebel_1-1659479010722.png

    OpenApiOperationParameterTypeConversionFailed. The 'inputs.parameters' of workflow operation 'Create_item_2' of type 'OpenApiConnection' is not valid. Error details: Input parameter 'item/DueDate' is required to be of type 'String/date'. The runtime value '""' to be converted doesn't have the expected format 'String/date'.

    If you can please advice me on this - it will be a big help...

    Thanks

    @berebel In such cases you need to make choices like- Hardesh(hkuamr@gmail.com) this in your MS Form. The advantage of it you can directly take email from choices using split().

    Dear Hardesh,

    Thank you very much for offering me your help.

    I thought I deleted this post - but looks like it did not go through.

    I was making a mistake in the form itself - while copy-pasting DisplayName - from GAL to Form - one extra space was getting added in the form after the first name... silly me!

    Once I rectified that - it started resolving all names to their relevant display name.

    Here's one problem - which I am not able to solve - i.e. if you have 4 Smith, John in your organization - it makes 4 entries in SharePoint List - if you are creating item after ... You cant actually tell Flow - which John Smith you need.

    Is there a way .. do you know?
