Using Powerapps under a Developer/Business account outside a work environment

I have used Powerapps to develop many apps while working for a Government agency but have recently retired but would still like to dabble with Powerapps from home and a personal/business account.

I have seen a few posts on this subject from 2024 but am wondering if anything has changed this year to allow the process to be a bit easier to achieve. I do have an ABN if that makes things any easier..

Any advice on the steps needed to take and costs involved would be most welcome - thank you

Hi

You are going to need a tenant to connect it too. I mean... you can buy a single license of Office 365 (premium heck standard) and you set it up and you can use Power Platform from there. Then create a Developer Environment and have fun. Do you have your own Domain or if you buy one (if you are just playing, grab something simple or just your name from godaddy). Then for your office subscription, have it take control of the Domain so email etc is via Microsoft tenant, not godaddy sold stuff.
