Can we create an org chart by using visio as source. I want to create an org diagram which would show the org structure in the home page and as and when a user clicks on any particular user then the app should display their rest of the informations such as whom the user reports to, telephone numner, email ID ans so on. Kindly suggest.

Visio runs under a user license and can't run on a server.  So for example you can't have a Azure Function app use Visio.  I'm not aware of a drawing package you can use on Azure Function apps.  I'm interested in creating a Gantt chart on project progress.  I haven't got started on it yet.

    Hi @Anonymous,

Visio is not one of the available connectors for PowerApps. You could try to create a custom connector with Visio. Please refer to:

    Hi @Anonymous,

Could you please share a bit more about your scenario?

Do you want to display a Visio chart within a PowerApps app?

If you want to display a Visio chart within a PowerApps, and interact with other controls in your app, I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs in PowerApps currently.

If you would like this feature to be added in PowerApps, please submit an idea to PowerApps Ideas Forum:

    https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/PowerApps-Ideas/idb-p/PowerAppsIdeas

Currently, as an alternative solution, you could consider take a try to create a Visio chart within Power BI report using Visio Custom Visual functionality, then embedded a PowerApps app within the Power BI report using PowerApps Custom Visual functionality,  after that, you could pass parameters from your Visio Chart to this embedded app.

More details about the creating Visio chart using Visio Custom Visual functionality in Power BI, please check the following blog:

More details about embedding a PowerApps app within Power BI report, please check the following blog:

    Best regards,

    Kris
