Hello, I have reviewed MS documentation here https://learn.microsoft.com/en-gb/power-platform/alm/basics-alm however I would like some feedback if what I plan to do makes sense since I never worked with separate environments and solutions. I normally work in the default environment only.
I have a requirement for an IP restricted solution which is why I am looking at environments. The solution will be made up of 1 Power App and 1 Power Automate Flow. I understand that there should be a sandbox/dev environment and a production environment at minimum, possibly even a test/UAT environment? What are the settings I need to take note of and what would be the best approach? Managed/un-managed, pipelines/no pipelines? I am getting a bit lost here :) I also noticed that some settings cannot be changed later on.
The minimal configuration will be a DEV environment (Sandbox) and a PROD environment (Production). To have TEST or UAT environment depends of if the is a critical solution that needs to be 100% test before to upload to Production or if you need to test it with data production (In DEV environments we should be develope with a subset of data)
I recomend you to use pipelines. We work daily with them without problems.
