Hello all,Is there a way to create a personal function (slot) in Power Apps (without use Power Automate). My aim would be to create a function that would can launch a sequence of Power Apps functions.
Thank in advance.
Charlie.
I don't think it is clear what you are asking, you may try elaborating to us what you are looking to do. If you are simply asking is it possible to engage multiple functions using a different one you name yourself within powerapps, then yes it is. If not, then I am not sure what You are asking.
Hello @TheRobRush ,
Sorry for my lack of precision. You are right. I want call several Power Apps functions from one create by me with a name define by me.
For example :
myFunction( Filter(...);; Set(...);; Collect(...) )
So, you say this is possible. Could you show me an example or the link to the official resource ?
Hi@Charlie ,
Please see link below, that may explain you Custom functions in PowerApps
https://matthewdevaney.com/power-apps-custom-functions-reusable-code/#:~:text=Build%20A%20Function%20Component,-Let's%20get%20started&text=Open%20Power%20Apps%20Studio%20and,Data%20type%20Date%20and%20time
If you just want to run bunch of line of code and not looking any value in return as per your above example then you can create a button, write the code on "On Select" of button and call the button from your code Select(button)
Please Thumbs up if my post helped you solve your issue and accept it as the solution to help the other members find it
Sure, Link from previous poster will show you step by step how to do it with a reusable component that can be used between multiple apps so follow that guide if you'd like to have that functionality, no need to retype that here as the link provided is very thorough and spot on. doing it inside the app itself and never moving the code it can be as simple as an even that triggers your codes. IE. A button, a hidden timer that expires and performs a status check every (x) milliseconds, etc.
