Data Privilege Error - Can't figure out where to fix it.

I built a Power App 6 months ago. I deployed it for 4 users and everything worked fine. They added a new employee and he's getting an error when he opens the app. Details below.

The app pulls data from an AzureSQL View and a SharePoint List....it merges them into a single table using a PowerApp dataflow, and is surfaced on the screen....users can select a record and update records from the SharePoint List.
This is clearly a permissions problem to the WIPDataFull table, which is the merged table.

I gave the new user all the power app licenses the other users have. He is a part of the same groups in sharepoint as the other users.

I can't find anywhere in PowerApps, where I can give permissions to the users for the tables.

again, none of the other users have this problem.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

    Hi there,

your error message suggests that the new user is missing specific security privileges required to access the WIPDataFull table in Dataverse. This is not about Power Apps licenses or SharePoint group memberships but instead about permissions within Dataverse. cr98d_wipdatafull

You need to check that your user has a role that allows him to read that table, because for some reason is required...

Go to the admin center, check your users and find out which role your previous users have that the new one is missing.

    BOOM!

That was exactly what it was. I had completely forgot about the Roles

    From CoPilot

To check user roles in Power Apps on the Power Platform, follow these steps:

    1. Sign in to Power Platform Admin Center: Go to the Power Platform Admin Center and sign in with your credentials.

    2. Select Environment: In the admin center, select the environment where you want to check user roles.

    3. Navigate to Security Roles: Go to Settings > Users + Permissions > Security Roles.

    4. View Security Roles: Here, you can see a list of all security roles in the environment. You can also view the privileges associated with each role.
