Link a gallery with a form

Dear Powerapps community

How can we link a gallery with an editform properly?

The whole story:
Me and a collegue are making a form with a gallery.

It starts with a form to fill in a dangerous situation, this is done by an operator.
This will be edited by the teamleader.

Now we are at the gallery with the edit form.
We made a vertical gallery and a form.
Gallery has as items 'Ik-doe-er-wat-aan-formulier' (in englisch: I do something about it form) and is called 'GalIDEWA'
The edit form has as datasource the list from Sharepoint ''Ik-doe-er-wat-aan-formulier'

We changed the templatefill of the gallery to If(ThisItem.IsSelected,ColorFade(RGBA(102, 182, 227, 1), -30%),RGBA(0, 0, 0, 0))
This way, it's clear what has been selected. As you can see in the picture below.

The form has as item 'GalIDEWA.Selected'

Yet the 'selected' is red underlined. It doesn't connect. Did we miss something?
We were following a guide from Reza Dorrani but we can't make out what we did wrong...
So basically, we are stuck on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HHXKfB1iAH4&t=803s 4:12

Can somebody help us with a solution?

Greetings Miguel and Benoit

    @MiguelDeNeve - could you confirm what the error message is? Are you sure the Items property of the Gallery and the Datasource property of the Form are pointing at the same SharePoint list?

    Dear Amik

    The error is in the item property of the form. I have there GalIDEWA.selected. Since the gallery is called GalIDEWA

    A red underline with the following message. It's in dutch, but it states in english the following:

    'Invalid formula. A value compatible with datasource is expected'

    'GalIDEWA.selected = An error occurred in this formula. Try to change the formula and run it again.'

    The Gallery has as items property 'Ik-doe-er-wat-aan-formulier':

    The form has as dataSource 'Ik-doe-er-wat-aan-formulier'

    Both are pointing to the same sharepoint list.

    @MiguelDeNeve ,

    I am not seeing anything obviously wrong with your steps.

    Try either of the two alternatives:

    Option 1:

    In the Items property of the Form, use:

    LookUp(
     'Ik-doe-er-wat-aan-formulier',
     ID = GallDEWA.Selected.ID
    )

    Option 2:

    On OnSelect property of the Gallery, enter:

    Set(
     varRecord,
     ThisItem
    );
    EditForm(FormIDEWA)

    Then set the Items property of the Form to:

    varRecord

    @Amik Option 1 worked for me. If I wanted to link a table page to the same gallery and form is that possible?

    @ScablandsKing - I would suggest raising a new post with the same question and more detail. At present, I do not know what a "table page" means.
