Field name with line break in formula bar

Hello,

I am importing an Excel Table, where one of the column titles has a line break:

"Office

Name"

When I try to select the field in the PowerApps formula bar I get an error...

Have you tried Table.'office name' instead of
Table.'office
name'
It should be on the same line in Powerapps

Thanks for the quick answer.
Unfortunately if I hit backspace to bring it to the same line it does not recognize the field.
To clarify there is a line break (entered with ALT+ENTER) in the Excel Table column title value, the line break in Excel is not just formatting because of column width.

Please the Table should be your table name and not just Table.
Example Table1.'Home Office'
or Employees.'Home Office' if Employees is the name of the Table.

So check the name of the Table in your excel. I hope the Table is properly formatted in you excel

Yes my table name in Excel is Table not Table1.
i think I somehow need to convert this linebreak arrow in the formula bar (using the advanced formula bar now)

No. Excel Table cannot be just Table.
To find out GoTo your Excel and recheck the Name Again.
If you imported the Excel, check similar like this:

Hi @francoisPAuser

This is probably not the answer you want to hear, but I would suggest that you don't use Excel spreadsheets with line breaks in the field name.

I think this is unusual - I've not come across field names with line breaks in the time that I've been working with PowerApps.

I've just tried this and I notice that controls such as the data table and gallery controls don't properly recognise field names with a line break. Therefore, I suspect that PowerApps doesn't fully support this naming convention.

Therefore, I would recommend that you rename the field name without a line break. I would also recommend that you don't name your Excel table 'Table'. Table is the name of a function in PowerApps. If you give a data source the same name as a function, there is far greater scope for problems to occur.
