Pre Load Image

Hello Community, hope you are all well.

I'm facing a little problem regarding my image loading too slowly. I have this app, which contains the company logo on the first screen, but sometimes it takes too much time to load. This mostly happens when coming back from any of the app screens to the main screen.

Is there anyway to pre load/fix the image there for the whole time the app is under usage? It feels a bit unprofessional to come back to the main screen and have the company logo only show up after a few seconds.

Thanks in advance.

I am guessing the image is stored locally in PowerApps. And you have image control on Screen. That is as fast as it gets. What you can do is compress the image to reduce it's size. That will help it to load faster.

Another thing you can do is create a collection on OnStart and store that image there. And use that collection as image reference so it will be pre loaded everytime

    Hi @fbarini :

I suggest you try the method provided by @zmansuri :

1\Set the Apps OnStart property to

    Set(TheImage,ImageName)

2\Set the image control's image property to:

    TheImage

    Best Regards,

    Thanks! This helped!

Just in case someone checks the threads, another way I've found was to input this at Image.Visible

    If(App.ActiveScreen = Landing; true; true)
